Hi,

I am a bit confused by the observation section on RE. What it is about? Should I look at any detail and find somewhere solution? Or is there necessary to get solution by chain of associations? How is it different from logic challenges?

Thanks, mybrave

Hi there. Long time no see
As you are the second person to ask this in a short time, I'll add a categories page which explains them.

Observation usually means there is something 'wrong' or different about this challenge compared to others. This could mean layout issues, spelling errors, change in form details,  perhaps  the css file is different from usual?  Now keeping in mind this is the very first challenge on the site,  it is a little mean to have you comparing this one to other challenges, so I'll tell you this one can be solved without having to visit any other challenge.

Find what is wrong and fix it,  then you will have your solution.

Regards,

Ok, source and css are not needed here.  Something is wrong but the problem is very very subtle.

This one causes people a lot of trouble it seems. There is more discussion (including a rather direct hint) here:  http://sabrefilms.co.uk/revolutionelite/REbbs/index.php?topic=37.0

Hope it helps.

I joined over 2 years ago and couldn't work out this challenge then...same again now.  This is driving me crazy!  I appreciate that the answer should be something wrong, but I've not found anything helpful.  Please may someone PM me with a larger hint, and then I can say what I've looked at?  I don't want to bother anyone out of the blue.

Thank you!

Feynman - Welcome to Revolution Elite Smiley

This one, although listed as observation, requires a little more than just observing.

The idea is as follows:
1. Something is definitely wrong - find what that is
2. Fix that something
3. Pass the challenge Smiley

I'll tell you there is nothing in the image - If there were this would be in the Steganography section rather than Observation.

Good luck
